C\u2019est une esp\u00e8ce tr\u00e8s proche du cabillaud, qui vit en banc et que l\u2019on peut p\u00eacher dans des eaux froides comme celles de l\u2019Islande, du Spitzberg, de la Norv\u00e8ge et de la mer du Nord.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Sa taille peut atteindre 1,3 m et il peut vivre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 25 ans. Le lieu noir a une chair tr\u00e8s tendre de couleur gris-perle quand elle est crue et devient blanche \u00e0 la cuisson.
